There's a party in my tummy

11.27.2012

Hello dear readers
Not very much to say this time but I just want to share with you an amazing juice I have been making these days.
Ok, there is NO gram of no natural stuff in it, you just have to mix it all and you will get delicious results.
For a 500ml porcion you need:

-A Juicer (mine is a cheap brand one)
-3 oranges
-1 piece of celery
-1 beet
- 3 or 4 carrots
-1 green apple

Let the juicer make the magic and you will get this energizing and yummy juice. Just don't do that when everyone at home still sleeping, haha.

So then you have a great source of A, C, K, Iron, Potassium and more vitamins to strengthen your defenses against flu and cold weather :)

Hope you enjoy it.

Warm regards,
J.

Fall

11.02.2012

Hello dear readers,

Today I decided to stay at home. I know I know, I should've gone to school but instead I wanted to skip it and clean up my little cottage (it was a mess!!)  and update you guys of what is going on these days in my head.

I always like to share my readings although these last weeks has been basically about economy and global problems, I recently got borrowed this book "Organic Manifesto" that I highly recommend for everybody. You will discover how important is to keep our life away from the Big Markets and its unhealthy products and choose to live better without them. IT IS POSSIBLE!!

I also loved this week NYT Magazine The Body Issue. Fast Company has become a great source of news to me too. I am a designer student, so this kind of magazines inspire me to make great things.
And well, I plan to make myself an herbs oils moisturizing cream and scented candles, so wish me luck!!

I am becoming a little obsessed with natural things, then I though, well I can do that by myself.
I recently read that most of scented candles you find at stores are very toxic and and releases so many pollution. I heard about this some years ago, but I just realized it until now.

So, I know that there is nothing more relaxing and cozy than a cup a coffee, a nice book and a scented candle, but try to avoid those cheap candles from the dollar store, and pick a beewax with cotton wicks.
I leave you this link so you can check alternative options.

Hope you have a great and enjoyable season.
Lots of warm hugs
J.
